Show Test Being Offered National Service Headquarters announced recently that it has authorized a special administration of the College Qualification Test on Thursday May 21 1953 for the benefit of students prevented by illness or other emergency from attending one of the regular administrations on December 4 1952 and April 23 1953 May 21 is the last date on which the College Qualification Test will be held during the present academic year postAlthough applications marked May 11 1953 or earlier will be accepted students wishing to apply arc urged to secure complete and mail their applications at once Early filing will insure a test and other necessary supplies for the student at the center he selects or at a nearby Selective center Men filling out the application available at all local Selective Service Boards must cross out "April 23” and write in "May 21" To be eligible to take the Selective Service College Qualification Test1 an applicant on the testing date (1) must be a Selective Service Registrant who intends to request deferment as a student (2) must be satisfactore ily pursuing a college course undergraduate or graduate leading to a degree (3) must not previously have taken the test The criteria for consideration for deferment as a student at the present time arc either a score of 70 or better on the Selective Service College Qualification Test or class standing among the male members in the upper half of the freshman class or upper of the sophomore class full-tim- two-thir- ds Girls' Glee To Present Recital Tea Mrs Dorothy Brown in charge of vocal music will present her Girls’ Glee Club in a public recital next Sunday May 3 at 4:30 in the college library The program the first of its kind attempted here will feature music of various kinds to appeal to different music lovers Students giving vocal solos in this week's music festival will present their num- bers Mrs Brown says that if this experiment is a success it may become an annual
