Mr Larsen extends a special invitation to all students to drop around to his room and view the work of his Last Wednesday during the lunch period the seniors met in the grand stand of the new stadium to have their pictures taken for the Salt Lake Tribune After four poses were taken Brent Lindstrom senior class prexy announced the Senior Hop would be held April 21 and that Jimmy Dart’s Orchestra had been lined up to play Brent also read the committee members for the various activities planned for the near future They are Beth Leavitt George Nikas and Perry Codington who will take care of the graduation program The Senior Hop committee consists of Morris Nelson Valene Reese Norene Ghirardelli Delores Fratto and Lewis Myers Gerald Culwell Donna Charles-wor- th and Brent Lindstrom are making plans for Senior Sluff Day students The students now have a large zoology collection of individual aquariums Species have been collected from the area of Carbon county Contents of the aquarium include snails water boatment diving beetles skaters leeches rock-rolle-rs chubs suckers and various other species After several malodorus trials a balance has been maintained between the animal life and plant life in the aquariums Several field trips have been included in collection of the species and other trips are planned Art Briefs April 14 the artists of Carbon county will exhibit some of their works in the Price Civic Auditorium Some time in the near future the art students of Carbon will go on a trip to some of the other high schools and display their works in art During the past week a painting of La Vae DeAngeles has been in the art room having the color of the eyes changed by Mr Olsen It was painted by a German artist in Germany in exchange for two cartons of cigarettes The German artist painted it from a small picture and her eyes were painted the wrong We Pick Up AllTheDIrtI By "JO the Schmoo” “This is so sudden!"
