FIENDISH DEED OF ROBBERS remove kail and cause train to go oyer trestle southbound limited train no 1 cincinnati to new orleans on the alabama great southern was wrecked two miles south of Mound mountville ville ala early tuesday the officials say the wreck was the work of train wreckers A rail was removed near a trestle which spans a small creek engineer laikin saw the rail was missing but too late to stop the heavy locomotive left the track and bumped along the road until the trestle was reached it then knocked the trestle down and toppled over into the creek the mall mail baggage and express cars a and nd two coaches followed the whole train being piled up in a heap in the creek mail clerks kelly and riggs wele severely injured as was fireman durr colored no passengers were hurt the train had but a few pas aboard the two sleepers re on the track
