Smithfield announced the opening of Joseph and the Technicolor Amazing Dreamcoat at 7:30 pm on the popular 11 The show will then continue every Monday Thursday Friday and Saturday through Nov 23 The play is the 54th produced by The StageStop Theatre Companies Inc and the seventh in its newly renovated home in Smithfield It is under the direction of Andrew Lorin Bamis A popular rock-ope- ra based on the Bible story of Joseph and his eleven brothers the musical was origiLloyd Webber and Tun Rice of Cats and Phantom of the Opera notoriety Employing many styles of music from cabaret to rock and completed within the next jew months Buttars said “The collection is in wonderful condition” she said “Ideally we would like to transcribe all of the interviews he taped but that would be very costly This collection will greatly enhance the national reputation of our folklore archives The monetary value of the Agins collection is in the artwork but the original information about common people is The play will be Visitor From Forest Hills which is from “Plaza Suite” written by Neil Simon The play is the story of a family on its daughter’s wedding day As the curtain rises we are transformed to Suite 719 at the Plaza Hotel Norma Hubley played by Jackie Fullmer is trying to talk her daughter Mimsey out of the bathroom The rest of the bridal party is waiting downstairs for the ceremony to start Out of desperation Nonna calls her husband Roy played by Dr Will Ressling to talk sense into his daughter Hie emotions and banter flies between the couple like electricity This humorous fast moving play is sure to entertain all The play stars two local talents Fullmer is the dance director at the new Sports Academy an academic advisor at USU and has choreographed many of the Cache
