passed away quietly Tuesday April 16 1996 at the Linda S Isaacson loving family He was bom June 16 1912 in Logan the son of Ezra and Thres-s- a Fink Eames He married Ardella Gnehm Sept 13 1932 in Salt Lake City Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on March 6 1979 He was a High Priest in the Logan 29th Ward Prior to his retirement in 1974 he was employed by Logan city for 40 years He started as a recreation supervisor for two years He then read water meters after which he two en married Ralph C Curry Oct 1 MillviMe She was a member of the Mount Fort LDS Ward and served a mission to the North Central LDS Mission She served as Relief Society president and as a visiting teacher She had formerly worked as a secretary in the LDS Church office building served as superintendent of the Logan City Water Department for 36 years Alton is survived by his wife of 63 years two sons: Douglas (Edna) Eames and Kenneth J (Dixie) Eames both of Logan four grandchildren: Jeffery (Monica) Eames Hyrum Tammy (Shane) Munk Amalga Tom (Karla) Eames Millville Tony Eames Las Vegas and Jane Hughes Jessop She 1971 in Surviving are her husband of Ogden stepchildren: Lee Curry in ranching and farming He was noted for his horsemanship and enjoyed hunting and fishing Salt Lake City LDS Temple They lived in California while her husband served in the US Navy They moved to Cache
