Show Beaver County Monitor PAGE 3 UNAPPROVED MINUTES BEAVER COUNTY COMMISSIO’. Consideration of Service District # 1 Board appointments. motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by January 12, 1998 The Board of County Commissioners met on January 12, 1998 for its regularly scheduled meeting. Those present were Richard: W. Rollins, Temporary Chairman; Ross Marshall, Member; Doug Carriger, Administrative Assistant; and Kari Draper, Deputy Clerk. The minutes were read by Dough Carriger, approved as read. The reorganization of the Board was discussed. It was agreed to table until February 2nd Commissioner Rollins, Commissioner Chad Johnson has made recommendations (see _Mmotion passed unanimously. Sheriff Ken Yardley then presented Mary Lou Englestead to the board for their approval as County Animal Control Officer. Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall to approve her attached) of persons to fill these positions. Dough Carriger presented the list of recommendations to the board on Commissioner Johnson’s absence. After a brief discussion, Commissioner Marshall motioned to approve these recommendations, hire, seconded by Commissioner Rollins, motion approved. Rollins asked Mr. Kanell to go ahead with the Plea and Abeyance Agreement and have Mr. Rowley sign it. setting. the date Nov. 1, 1998, to allow Mr. Rowley. ample time to do the necessary clean-up to his property. They were later divorced. He married Daun Colleen Banks on May 25, 1948 in Las Vegas. Forrest found plenty of time and room in his heart to be a loving husband, caring father and wonderful grandfather. He served in the U. S. Army during World War IL He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 42 years retiring as a conductor. His’ greatest love of his life was his family, traveling, fishing, hunting and the mountains. He is survived by his wife Daun of Milford. Children, Teria Lee Williamson Walker of Orem, & Leon Douglas Ray & Julie Miller of Milford, David Forrest & Donetta Miller of St. George, Timothy John & Tammie Miller of West Valley and Kelly & Ben Forman of Milford, and Lloyd Ray & Julie Alexander of Oro Valley, AZ. 14 Grand & 4 Great Grandchildren. The recommendation that were made are, 2 year appomtments, Roger Rose and Jerry Mayer. Four year appointments, David Eyre, Kevin Long and Howard Pryor. Comm. Marshall motioned to approve the appointments, Comm. Rollins seconded, motion passed. Consideration of proposed Prairie Dog Site Management. Doug Carriger showed the board a map of the areas involved, and explained that the Utah Prairie Dog Management Bureau was asking that Beaver County abide by the regulation set forth in these areas. Craig Davis addressed the commission concerning a zoning change request from Carolyn Dysart.
