Carter UNAPPROVED MINUTES MINERSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL A regular meeting of the Minersville Town Council was hold on Monday, October 21, 1996, at 7:00 P.M. at the Minersville Town Hall. Those present: Howard J. Pryor, Michelle Barton, Rodney Carter, and David Eyre. Visitors: Kevin Carter, Jim Wilson. The Minutes from the October 7, 1996, meeting were approved. Jim Wilson representing Gubler, Wilson & Whatcott met with the council to present the audit report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996. He complimented the Council and the Town Clerk for the __ excellent manner In which the Town cooperaied In the ‘audit procedure. He commented that he sces significant Improvement In the records each year. The Town Is In sound financial standing and Is In accordance with the uniform accounting standards required by law. The management letter was read. The Town was advised that they must raise the basic sewer user fee. Also they were advised to adopt a now updated purchasing policy, and to use a formal resolution to adopt the budget. David Eyre made a motion to adopt the audit report and to make every effort to comply with the suggestions In the management letter.
