Councilman Smith motioned to authorize mayor Wiseman to sign the agreement with Jones and Demille for engineering services for the waste water - on the Milford Flat where no intensive livestock operations or swine husbandry units will be allowed and all other conditional use permits will apply. This zone shall include all land within 2 miles of Milford City limits. 2. There shall be a buffer zone of 1/4 mile from any existing home near the boundaries of the new zone. . 3. With conditional use permits, _ anyone affected by the issuance of such a permit within 4 mile, shall be given written notice before any action is taken. This will be county wide. 4. . Any new home construction within any agricultural zone must go to the Planning and Zoning Board and sign a permit which states that they are fully aware of and accept all conditions of building and living in an agricultural zone. 5. Because of the new annexation of Beaver City an intensive livestock operation shall be allowed within 1 mile of residential boundaries and not city limits. There was discussion about the area, existing operations, grandfathering existing operations, a place set aside for dairy operations. Also discussed was what would happen if someone wanted to expand their operation, under the new provisions they (continued on page 10) — |
