Milford City Councilman Water Dotson, Smith, Netto, Protection Plan, Thomas, sign resolution 1-95, a resolution changing the regular meetings of Milford City Council, Councilman Carter seconded the motion, all in favor. Councilman Treasurer Carter Kanell, City Auditor Ken Hinton, Kevin Long, Ben Price, Ron Wunderlich, Lary Carter, Lynn motioned to accept Resolution 395 with he language added that Milford City encourages water conservation and that from time to time this can be amended, Council Wall and daughter, Gary Sullivan, man Dotson seconded the motion, ” and Alice Smith reporting for the Dodge City News. Auditor Ken Hinton presented the audit report for fiscal vear 1993-94. He reviewed the financial assets of the city. and commended the city for the job that has been done. all in favor. Council appointed Gary Malchus to fill the vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Committee and Gary Mayer to fill the vacancy on the Board of Adjustments. Dotson Councilman motioned to send a letter to Phelps Dodge giving them the option to purchase the AT & T building according to the original terms of Griffiths, Leadman Whiting, Chief of Police Don Hagberg, Attorney Lynn _ Wall, Civil Engineer, proposed to do a dam safety survey map for Milford City that could be used by the City for their Emergency Action Plan. Recorder Netto was instructed to check with the state on the need for a Emergency Action Plan. Ron Wunderlich, representing Advanced Development, asked for permission to proceed with the proposed Mobile Home Park/Subdivision and annexation. After discussion the Council conceptually approved. Kevin Long approached the Council to express his concern over an incident involving a juvenile. Councilman Sower asked to be excused from the table. He presented a Local Consent Form to be signed by the Council giving permission to transfer title of the Pub. Councilman Thomas motioned to approve the transfer and five Mayor Wiseman the ; table. Carter Councilman motioned to table the decision to sponsor Dave Mott a the Police Academy until next : meeting, Councilman Dotson seconded the motion, all in favor. Minutes from the January 17, 1995 meeting were amended to read: item #4, Council agreed that they would work with any developer to find an acceptable location. | Minutes were then approved. Schant Beaver County Sheriff's Report Week of Feb. 13-19, 1995: * A West Jordan, Utah, man was booked into Beaver County Jail following a Utah Highway Patrol arrest. He was charged with Driving Under the Influence or Alcohol. * UHP also arrested two men from Little Falls, Minnesota. They were booked into jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine. The driver was also charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. * Theft ofa purse from a bus was reported seconded the motion, all in favor. Council agreed to ask Bill Romine to continue to represent ‘the City of Milford on the Special Service District #5 Board. Councilman Thomas motioned to have Mayor Wiseman Mayor Wiseman called the meeting to order at approximately 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Councilmen Carter, Dotson motioned to approve the Drinking Council February 7th Recorder PAGE 12 by El Bambi * An incident of Criminal Mischief in the North Creek area is under investigation. * Two California men were arrested by the Sheriff's Department, charging them with Possession of Marijuana. * One traffic accident involving property damage was investigated during the week by the Sheriff's Department. * One animal emergency was handled. * Twenty responses were made by the Sheriffs Department to request for assistance. Of these calls, one was to keep the peace, none to check out suspicious persons or circumstances, and six to assist other agencies. * The Sheriff's Department made 21 traffic stops and issued 10 citations. ‘First Security A dopted Milford E lementary Cafe, Beaver. only . Cindy Pierce, First Security Branch Manager, presented Larry Barnes, Milford Elementary Principal, with a plaque acknowledging that the bank has adopted the school for participation in a community awareness program.
