Larry Sower of Circle Four Farms met with the board to request a Conditional Use Permit to allow completion of the 6,000 sow farrow-to-finish farm complex located near Laho siding. The request covers the additional four finishing farms, two nursery farms, truck wash / off site loading area near site 7 and utility systems needed to complete the complex. The board reviewed the findings. Larry explained that there are several state and federal permits that still need to be obtained. Subdivision Discussion Craig discussed the possibility. of imposing a moratorium on all division of land due to the fact that the current subdivision ordinance is outdated and being revised. Beaver County Schools to Close January 31, 1995 On January 3 Ist the teaching staff of the school district will take advantage | ofan opportunity to have a 4 1/2 hour workshop with Harry K. Wong. Dr. Wong is the most sought after speaker in education today. With thirty seven years of teaching experience, recipient of awards including Teacher numerous national of the Year, his practical approach is of great value to educators. _ After the school board had an opportunity to hear Dr. Wong for less than two hours at the recent State School Boards Conference, they were 100% supportive when the: Nebo School District invited our teachers to join with them in this — workshop. On Friday, February 3rd all students will be required to be in school until twelve noon to partially make up the time for the day of absence created on January 31st.
