O 0 Anderson is home again after spending several se several several se- se veral weeks visiting with members members members mem mem- bers of r her family Mrs Anderson Ander Ander- Anderson son went to Salt Lake City August 29 to attend the wedding of her granddaughter Lora Lee Anderson daughter of Ted and Leora Anderson of Salt Lake City and Brent Jones Following FollowIng Following Follow Follow- ing a lovely reception for the young couple In the Heritage House Mrs Anderson boarded a plane for Detroit where she spent a delightful month visitIng visitIng visiting visit- visit Ing with another son Hoyt and his wife and family Hoyt and Ruth live in beautiful Bloomfield Bloomfield Bloomfield Bloom- Bloom field Hills just out of Detroit Mrs Anderson reports that the scenery was beautiful and she had a real nice visit On her return she visited a day or two in Salt Lake City with Ted and Leora and was brought home Thursday by a law brother and his wife wile Ken and Vilate Anderson who always enjoy a visit back In Ephraim Mr and Mrs Ralph Brenchley Brenchley Brenchley Brench- Brench ley were were in Wellsville on Satur Saturday day to attend funeral services for a grandmother Mrs Katherine Katherine Katherine Kath- Kath erine H H. H Brenchley 93 who died Sept 27 at the home of a daughter in Wellsville Ephraim south shorts Mr and Mrs Max Hales and children Holly and Ryan of Kenwick Washington are moving movIng moving ing to Ephraim They will live in the mobile home on Third East formerly occupied by Warren Warren Warren War War- ren and Gerri Calhoun and their family Max Ma has been working as an engineer with a trailer company In Washington for the past 10 or 12 years and Is presently employed as an en engineer engineer en- en engineer for the L M 11 Enter Enter- Mrs Hales Is the former Delores Thompson and is a daur ater of Mr and Mrs GeOl je e Thompson who lived In Sterling some years ago Maxs Max's parents have worked in the Intermountain area with U I Sugar Company and are now living in Garland Utah Living In Utah Is not new to the Hales as both Max and Delores attended BYU Mrs Hales and the children hope to finish their business in WashIngton Washington Washington Wash Wash- ington In a week or two and be able to join him here President and Mrs Garth Monson and family made a quick trip to Logan Saturday afternoon to attend a family gathering of President Monson's family Florence Johnson continues to be In poor health and expects ex expects expects ex- ex to return to the hospital in a day or two for additional treatment Don and Sharon Nelson and two children are 11 living ving in Genola on an extended military leave following Dons Don's transfer from Santa Rosa California where he has been stationed for 14 months Don expects to leave for a years year's assignment In Korea Korea Kor Kor- ea on October 29 and they are hoping that the stork makes his visit before Don has to go The Nelsons are enjoying visiting with Sharon's mother Mrs Beverly and other relatives and friends In Ephraim and with Dons Don's folks Mr and Mrs Max Nelson of Genola They report they had hada a wonderful experience in California California California Cal Cal- where they were members members members mem mem- bers of the Santa Rosa Third Ward A lovely open house was given In their honor just before leaving to come back to Utah Sharon and the children plan to live In their mobile home In Genola while Don is In Korea Mrs Gladys Larson returned home Sunday following surgery a couple of weeks ago in Salt Lake City Grateful to be home Mrs Larson Is happy to be doing as well as she Is although It will be some time yet before before be before be- be fore she is fully tully recovered Elder Val Anderson son of Robert 0 O. O and Ellen S. S Anderson Anderson Anderson Ander Ander- son returned home last Monday after completing a successful mission for the Church Churchin in Peru Val Is scheduled to give a report of his mission In sacrament meeting this Sunday October 8 at pm p.m. In the Ephraim South Ward Glen Larson son of Mrs Gladys Larson has completed basic training at Fort Ord California and is now finishing finishing finishing finish finish- ing his military requirement with the national guard In Ari Ari- zona Glen will be through with his national guard training about the middle of November |
