J Orrin Anderson 88 who died November 23 1971 at home of natural causes Born September 1 1883 Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim to Joseph E E. E and Diantha Thomson Anderson he was the third child In a family of ot 10 children He married Olivia E E. E Peterson September 2 1908 In the Manti ManU Temple and they observed their wedding anniversary In September Mr Anderson was a High Priest in the Church and had served many years as a Sunday School teacher He was superintendent and secretary of the MIA ward financial clerk counselor In the bishopric ward clerk for nine years member of the stake high council counselor counselor counselor coun coun- In the stake mission served In the stake tendency of the Sunday School and served as an ordinance worker In the Manti Mantl Temple He attended schools In Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim and was valedictorian of his class when he graduated from Snow Academy He began teaching In Mayfield where he was principal and taught In Inthe Inthe inthe the Ephraim schools before joining the Snow College staff as registrar and treasurer In 1936 where he served for 12 years One of the first religion class teachers he began teachIng teaching teaching teach teach- ing In 1907 and continued In Inthis Inthis inthis this position until they were dis discontinued He served as assistant superintendent and later stake superintendent of this program He served on the Ephraim Public Library Board for 12 years and was city recorder for two terms During his time as city recorder he kept the records of the irrigation system system system tem and prepared the records for transfer to the Ephriam Irrigation Company when It was started Mr Anderson Is survived by his widow sons daughter Robert 0 O. O Ephraim Elden J J.
