Show West est ways MARION LEE Telephone Jeff JeU Hall son of Mr and Mrs Heber Shirley Hall of Salt Lake City enjoyed a long weekend during the break at the home of an aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs MaCoy McCoy Larsen Jeffs Jeff's parents spent the time at Lake Powell while Jeff was In Ephraim Among the successful elk hunters in the area was a party made up of Phil and Parry Olson and Richard Olson The trio hunted In the Pigeon Creek timber anc and Hell Hole area and succeeded in bringing down downa a bi big six-point six bull the first day at about in the morn morn- ing They report that a Spring City group with seven permits filled up while huntin hunting in the same area The weather was excellent and the moue mountains ns are unusually beautiful this year state the hunters Mrs Emily Johnson Is now at her home after atter spending several months with family members in the Salt Lake area where she has been recuperating recuperating recuperating from a broken hip Emily is very happy to be back with friends and neighbors again She expresses her gratitude for the cards letters telephone telephone telephone tele tele- phone calls and flowers which she has received and also for forthe forthe forthe the blood which was donated Sh She is s grateful for the kind care of doctors and nurses and for tor her wonderful family who gave her such kind and loving care Mrs Johnson is isable isable isable able to care for herself and get around with the aid of a walker House guests last week at the home of Mr and Mrs Sherman were Mr and Mrs Richard Thomason of Granby Colorado M Mrs r s Thomason Jackie is a daughter of Jeniel Nielson Harenburg and a granddaughter granddaughter granddaughter grand grand- daughter of the late Fred and Amelia Nielson all of whom are former residents of Eph Eph- raim The visitors enjoyed visiting friends and former classmates and seeing points of Interest while in Ephraim Weekend visitors at the LeRoy LeRoy LeRoy Le- Le Roy Peterson home included a son and his family Mr and Mrs Richard Peterson and four children of Salt Lake City Also visiting recently at the Peterson home was a former Snow College student Patrick Donley who lived at the Peterson Peterson Peterson Peter Peter- son home while attending Snow Mr Donley I is now living in Holly Springs Pennsylvania near Philadelphia He hopes to soon move to Utah to make his home here |
