Show letter Leffer To The Editor In a letter received this past week from Elder Theron B B. B Sondrup who Is serving In the Mission he re relates relates relates re- re lates the following regarding the now famous Mormon Miracle Pageant My missionary companion Elder Carl Dahlquist from California serving with me here at Hilo Hawaii received a letter from his sister also alsofrom alsofrom alsofrom from California and a student at BYU this summer session that she had attended the Mormon Mormon Mormon Mor mon Miracle Pageant In ManU Mantl and was amazed with the beauty and presentation given ven on the ManU Mantl Temple Hill She told hIm that this was something that he must see sometime In the fu fu- fu ture She further expressed her feelings saying that It was just wonderful Theron further states One can only guess how many parts of the world the fame of the pageant touched God bless you the people of South Sanpete Stake for your fine missionary service through this wonderful wonder wonder- ful production A warm aloha Elder Theron B. B Sondrup Elder Sondrup is at present zone leader and thus supervising supervising supervising super super- elder over the large Island In the Hawaiian mission Hawaii He is scheduled to be released on September and will be returning home to attend school I am addressing this letter to the ladies Stand up for your rights to stay a woman Give the man his pants and wear you your skirts Im I'm 14 and I am fed up with this liberation movement move move- ment I feel reel that only a small minority of women want this extra freedom that they feel we should have I dont don't want those freedoms freedoms freedoms free doms As a future woman I dont don't want to wear the pants in my family The man should have this honor Also if the Uie woman wife and mother would spend more time at home then maybe we would not have so many delinquents running around Maybe there wouldn't be beso beso beso so many runaways job shortages shortages short short- ages etc Maybe aye It would be a better place to live in By the way why doesn't the theman theman theman man stand up for his rights tobe to tobe tobe be a man Are there too many without backbone I dont don't think so I think that they are just sitting by watching some women make fools out of themselves But I think that the politicians are afraid of losing their jobs in future elections If they dont don't vote for that bill Why I dont don't have the foggiest Ideas why Because there are possibly more women that want to be women than men they dont don't want to be a man And the future wont won't want women as myself war to have to go fight some with t the e men especially when for we we couldn't and didn't vote this bill And when some of us didn't want the freedoms that we supposedly didn't have So ladies ladles dont don't let this bill go through Let men be men and you stay a woman You were born with the privilege of being a woman Dont Don't ever give that privilege away Mary Barker Or Orem em Utah P PS S It would never be possible possible pos pod sible to have equal rights with men We were the only ones blessed with the right to give birth to new generations Mary Barker is the grandniece grandniece grandniece grand- grand niece of Mrs Hugh C.
