daughter daugh daugh- ter Lana who returned that day from the French East Mission Mission Mission Mis Mis- sion where she had been serving as a missionary the past two years Saturday the Mangelson family family family fam fam- ily gathered at Levan for a family reunion with a number of family members earlier attending at attending attending at- at tending a session in the Manti Mantl Temple Saturday day friends and relatives gathered at the Mangelson resi residence dence in Ephraim for a family dinner and attended a testimonial al in the evening for Lana A mong the out of town visitors were Mrs Elon Stander Slander and three daughters NewYork New York Mr and Mrs Max Mangelson Bountiful Dr and Mrs Nolan Mangelson and four children Orem Bishop Mangelson's father Lorenzo Mangelson and Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim North Ward enjoyed a de delightful delightful delightful de- de excursion to Salt Lake City last Wednesday Six girls accompanied by Mrs Pauline Blad Biad toured Temple Square visited the Information Bureau and the Pioneer Museum and enjoyed the many beautiful flowers on Temple Square They also toured the Beehive Beehive Beehive Bee Bee- hive House but were unable to visit the Lion House since early reservations were required They went to Hogle Zoo and had hadan hadan hadan an exciting experience when one of the girls dropped her wallet into the monkey pond After leaving Salt Lake City they stopped In Provo at the Golden Apple and enjoyed some delicious delicious de- de licious t While they were on Temple I Square they were Interested in an individual who asked to buy a Spanish Book of Mormon to learn more of the Church and their beliefs Mrs Hespert Sevy returned home Saturday after spending a week in Salt Lake City with her son Neldon and his family family family fam fam- ily and with her daughter Mrs Francis of Granger Neldon and his family ac accompanied accompanied accompanied ac- ac companied her to Ephraim where they visited until Sunday Mrs Helmet Peterson re returned returned returned re- re turned home this m month nth after spending a month In the hospital where she had pneumonia and was treated for diabetes She spent son of Mr and Mrs Maiben Hafen was a speaker Keith left the past week for an Mission In the Great Lakes with his headquarters in Ohio Visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs Clyde Blauer the past week have been Mr Blauer's parents Mr and Mrs Henry Blauer of Burley Idaho All of the family of Mr and Mrs Clifton Bailey were home to spend Fathers Father's Day with their parents Coming from out of town were Mr and Mrs Tony LaVee Hess and family of Salt Lake City Mr and Mrs Dick Bailey and Mr and Mrs Burke Bailey and families of Ephraim also Joined the group for dinner and visiting A granddaughter Mend Men Mendy d y Hess remained to spend the week with her grandparents Mr and Mrs Garth Beacham were in Salt Lake City last weekend to attend MIA June conference T They h e y returned home Saturday evening Mr and Mrs Evan Stoddard who have spent the past year in Ephraim teaching at Snow College College College Col Col- lege are spending the summer in Provo where Mr Stoddard is attending the B BYU YU and completing completing completing com com- work toward his masters master's masters master's masters master's mas mas- ter's degree Rawlin Jacobsen returned home last Thursday from the Utah Valley Hospital where he spent a week receiving therapy for a ruptured disc He is re reported reported reported re- re ported by family members to tobe tobe tobe be improving and able to beback be beback beback back at work hours a day this week Todd Nielson sends everyone back home his best regards and thanks all those who have sent cards letters etc He enjoys reading them and also the En En-
