Show Funds go for scholarship Noted performers to appear at La LaVar Var Jenson fete Monday Sanpete Community Concerts will present several prominent Utah musicians in a special raising und program Monday at 8 In the college auditorium c Proceeds from the concert will be contributed to the La Var Jenson Scholarship Fund established es established established es- es in honor of Mr Jenson Jenson Jenson Jen- Jen son who has had a long and distinguished career as a concert concert concert con con- cert pianist music teacher and presently chairman of the colleges college's colleges college's colleges college's col col- leges lege's Piano Department In addition to Mr Jenson the performers will include Paul and Louise Pratt members of the Brigham Young University music faculty Richard Richard Rich Rich- ard Nibley Snow College teacher and Melba Armstrong well-known well Ephraim contralto Professor will open the concert with three piano numbers The Self-contented Self One by Brahms' Brahms Rhapsody In B Minor and Danzas Argentinas by Gin Gin- Mr Nibley will play his original violin composition The Virtuoso Revisited Miss Pratt will perform on the harp Debussy's Danse Dense Sacree et Danse Dense Profane She will be accompanied by Dr A. A Harold Goodman and the Brigham Young University Faculty Mrs Armstrong will sing the Saint selection My Heart at Thy Sweet Voice Her accompanist will be Prof Jenson As the concluding performance perform perform- ance Professor Jenson will play Chopin's from Concerto No 1 in E.
