N 1 E. E and are both attending attending attending attend attend- ing Utah State University The young couple both plan to w work rk toward receiving a degree In education While In Logan Mr and Mrs Anderson were taken on a tour of the campus by Larry and Connie Edgar and Esther re report report report re- re port that the mountains are beautiful this time of the year Thistle and Logan Canyons were especially spectacular with crimson and gold foliage coverIng covering cover cover- ing the mountainsides Mr and Mrs H H. H A. A Dean were pleased this week to have as guests Mr and Mrs Clifford Clifford Clifford Clif Clif- ford Dean of Pima Arizona Clifford is a brother of H. H A. A Dean The Clifford Deans were recently released from the Hill HUl Cumorah Mission where they were in charge of the Peter Whitmer Farm In Waterloo New York Nels I. I Olsen was confined to the Sanpete Hospital In Mt Pleasant last week where he underwent surgery for a hernia on Wednesday October 1 He was released to his home on Sunday morning Mrs Olsen reports that N Nels els is recovering satisfactorily and although he must be careful for a while yet he should soon be back backon on his feet again On Friday a daughter and her husband Mr and Mrs Doyle Stella Workman and son and daughter Dennis and Deborah of Sunset came to Ephraim and visited with Mr Olsen in the hospital They assisted Mrs m Olsen In bringing Nels home from the hospital on Sunday and left for home later In the day While In the hospital Mr Olsen also received a telephone callon call callon on Saturday evening from a son Wayne K K and his wife Dorothy in Bellingham Washington This helped to lift his spirits Both Mr and Mrs Olsen would like to thank their family and friends for their thoughtfulness thoughtfulness thoughtfulness thought- thought their calls cards and visits and other acts of kIndness kindness kindness kind kInd- ness and assistance A special thanks goes to the doctors nurses and staff at the hospital Nels looks forward to visiting with his friends while he Is recuperating at home |
