L Rampton will be a guest speaker at the November Friday Forum at atthe atthe atthe the Ephraim LD Institute of Religion according to Director Garth Monson The Forum will willbe willbe willbe be held in the Institute Building beginning at noon Gov Rampton was born in Bountiful on November 6 1913 He was was' the oldest of three children children children chil chil- dren of Lewellyn S. S and Janet Campbell Rampton He attended public schools in Davis County and graduated from Davis High School in 1931 During his senior year he was a member of the state championship debating team In the fall of 1931 the older Mr Rampton passed away and Calvin dropped his college plans to enter the automobile business run by his father In 1933 the business was vias sold and Cal as ashe ashe ashe he prefers to be called enrolled at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City After taking his undergraduate work at the U U. of U. W Rob Rob- inson It was during this period that he was elected chairman of the Administrative Assistants Association succeeding Lyndon B B.
