L Thomson They brought with them some slides and a tape from South Africa The tape was narrated by Steven Hunter who is serving a mission in South Africa Mr and Mrs Gordon Peterson Peterson Peterson Peter Peter- son and baby spent last weekend weekend weekend week week- end at the home of Gordons Gordon's parents Mr and Mrs Webley Peterson While in Ephraim Gordon joined his father and brothers hunting deer in the nearby canyons They reported a successful hunt before returnIng returning returning return return- ing to their home in Salt Lake on Sunday Mr and Mrs Donald Poulsen of Kaysville visited friends and relatives in Ephraim last weekend weekend weekend week week- end while here on a business trip They report that Dons Don's mother Mrs Delphia Jorgensen is coming along fine Miss Kay Ericksen visited in Ephraim last weekend with her folks Mr and Mrs McLoyd Ericksen Kay is teaching in the Provo City schools this winter and reports it is very enjoyable Miss Cherril Madsen visited relatives and friends in Ephraim from Thursday until Sunday Cherril drove from Snowflake Arizona where she is teaching in the high school business dept She also teaches two night class class- es a week for adults in the district district district dis dis- dis- dis and does secretarial work for the Southwest Indian Mission Branch in Holbrook Mrs Curtis Armstrong returned return return- ed recently after a very delightful delight delight- ful trip to Denver Colorado She accompanied her brother Robert Kotter and his wife of Bountiful on the visit to her sister and husband Mr and Mrs Devere Thomson The recently recent recent- ly moved to Denver from Ohio While in Denver Mrs Armstrong Armstrong Arm Arm- strong and the visited many points of interest and provided provided provided pro pro- vided music for a Relief Society meeting at which Mrs Thomson gave the lesson They enjoyed the trip through the en route and returned return return- ed by byway way of Wyoming to avoid the recent snow on the mountain passes Mr and Mrs Kenneth Bailey were weekend visitors at the Glenn B Bailey iley home enjoying the deer hunt while in Ephraim before before be be- fore returning to their studies at Logan Mrs Renon Bailey wishes to thank the many who have remembered remembered remembered re re- re- re her with cards and letters while she has been in the hospital Mrs Bailey is in Room of the University of Utah Medical Center She appreciates apprecIates also those who have visited visited visited visit visit- ed her She is still re receiving treatment at the Medical Center Visiting at t the e Hillary Larsons last weekend and enjoying the deer hunt in Ephraim's Canyons were Ray and Virginia Thompson Thomp Thomp- son and Kenneth Ray and Dixie Thompson all of Kearns They report no deer |
