Show NOTICE OF INTENTION Notice is hereby given by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Ephraim Utah of their intention to make the following described described described de de- scribed improvements and to make or levy special improvement taxes to pay for same wit to-wit BITUMINOUS PAVING OF STREETS Seal coat mix on sub base of gravel To prepare the road bed where necessary to meet the engineers engineer's specifications viz to a depth of 6 and refill with 3 of well graded relatively clean gravel up to a 1 diameter It is to be dampened and rolled Chip gravel and seal coat oil mix on top of a sub-base sub gravel to a depth of at least 2 thickness details on specifications and profiles are on file in City Office The above bituminous paving will be placed as shown on the following designated streets wit to-wit No 1 Third I-Third Third East Street between First and Second North Street A 22 feet wide center strip of said 2 thick bituminous pavement No Third 2 Third 2 Third North Street between Main and First West Street A 22 feet wide center strip of said 2 thick bituminous pavement No First 3 First 3 First West between Second and Third North Street A 22 feet wide center strip of 2 2 thick bituminous pavement And also a 27 feet wide strip on west side of center strip No Third 4 Third 4 Third North between First and Second East Streets A 27 21 feet wide strip of 2 thick bituminous pavement on Northside North Northside Northside side of center strip No Second 5 Second 5 Second South between Main and Second East Streets A 16 foot strip of 2 2 thick pavement on each side of center strip except by South W Ward rd Church which is already paved No Second Second 6 6 Second North between Main and First East Street A 22 2 feet strip of 2 2 thick pavement on each side of center strip Said Special Improvement District will run from the center of the above designated streets back to the depth of the ownership property abutting thereon but not to exceed the center of the blocks abutting said improvements and upon parcels abutting at Third I North Street not to exceed back from said streets to more than feet abutting the named above-named in Ephraim City Survey Sanpete County Utah The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owners upon streets No 1 l and No 2 above will be per lineal foot or at atthe atthe atthe the rate of per square foot of improvements The estimated cost t to be paid by the abutting property owners upon west side of No 3 above will be per lineal foot or at the rate of per square foot foot of of improvements and for the property owners on the east side of street one-half one cost of center strip at per linear foot toot The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owners upon street No 4 above will be per lineal foot or at the rate of per square foot of improvements The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owners upon street No 5 above w will ll be per lineal fo foot t or at the rate of per square foot of improvement The estimated cost to be paid by the abutting property owners upon street No 6 above will b be per lineal foot or at the rate of per square foot of imp improvements The total estimated cost to be paid by abutting property owners for the above mentioned improvements is or in the following following following fol fol- lowing rates on said numbered streets Street No 1 1 Street No 2 2 Street No 3 3 Street No 4 4 Street No 5 5 Street No 6 6 TOTAL Additional installation of said surface hard-surface in driveways may maybe maybe maybe be obtained by written requests filed with the Ephraim City Recorder on or before the day of July 1967 giving the proposed proposed proposed pro pro- posed location and width of said driveway The additional cost of driveways over and above the cost of the street improvement is tobe to tob tobe b be paid by the property owners requesting construction of said driveways at an estimated cost of lOc per square foot for said driveways Ephraim City will pay the cost of the above improvement and other incidental work within the street intersections The estimated cost to be paid by Ephraim City is in addition to the regular assessments if any on City owned property The said improvements will be made according to the plans and specifications which will be on file in the Ephraim City Office on and after July 15 1967 Ephraim City Council intends to defray the abutters abutter's portion of the cost and expenses of the proposed improvements improvements improvements im im- im- im by special assessments to be levied
