Show Dairy Princess Contest Seeks Entrants Mr and Mrs Jay Peterson of Fairview have been selected as the chairmen of the Sanpete County Dairy Princess Contest which will be held on July 21 in Ephraim in conjunction with the Rambouillet Days The contest is open to all girls in the county and offers them many opportunities The young lady who is chosen as the princess princess prin prin- cess w will i 11 represent Sanpete County at the Utah Dairy Princess Princess Prin Prin- cess Contest which will be held at the annual ADA Banquet in Salt Lake City next November She will She will also represent the county county coun coun- ty on dairy tours and will participate participate parti parti- in the Rambouillet Days and County Fair parades She will receive her choice of a scholarship from Snow College or a full tuition scholarship from Utah State University She must have a B average to qualify The attendants will each receive 25 from the Dairy Association All entrants will be guests at the banquet and will ea each h receive a gift All girls in the county who are between the ages of ot 25 17 inclusive inclusive sive ive and who are high school graduates are eligible to enter the contest In addition she must enjoy dairy foods and must be willing to spend time tune representing representing the dairy industry She must have some knowledge of dairying and must photograph well welt Entry applications must be submitted by July It should be noted also that the Princess Contest is not nota a bathing suit type contest Contestants will appear in formals Professional Professional models are not riot eligible and the candidate may not be married No o special performance talents are required Representing Represent tg the he Manti anU Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim and Sterling areas in the selecting of candidates are Mrs Merrill Jensen Manti Mrs Art King Ephraim and Mrs Clair Otten Ste Sterling ling Any girl interested in entering the contest should contact the representative in her community ity f for lr more mor information |
