This project, of major importance in the United States of Americas atomic program, includes the buying, receiving, weighing, sampling and assaying of domestic uranium and vanadium ores and concentrates in all western states. -- In connection with this work, Lucius Pitkin, Inc. undertakes the planning and execution of administrative, clerical, technical and the thousand and one other duties necessary to the running of an organization of the size and scope of the Western Uranium ments of the Commissions project. Its work and basic research in the metallurgical field has earned it a world-wid- e reputation. For many years Pitkin has handled sampling, analyses, specy fluorescence and troscopy, other problems for private industry and for divisions cf the Atomic Energy Commission.
