Show May 6. 1955 Cincinnati Broker Enters Plateau Big Piney, Stove Creek Ohio Ben J. Cincinnati, Hartman, nationally known businessman, real estate broker and financier, recently purchased 22 uranium claims in San Juan County, Utah. The claims in the Vote Merger Stockholders of Big Piney Oil & Refining Co. and Stove Creek Dome Oil and Refining Co. voted at a special meeting on May 3rd to consolidate the two companies under the name of Big Piney Oil and Uranium Company. The stock of the new company is to be issued share for share for stock of the companies. The market price of these stocks has been advancing steadily because the Big Piney Oil & Refining Company now has a well drilling with its own rotary equipment at a location in line between large productive gas wells on three sides of the Big Piney Company holding in the Big Piney field. At last reports the well was down 600 feet and drilling at a rate of about 200 feet a day. The objective sands are expected to be cut within a depth of 2000 feet judging from the adjoining productive well in the field.
