Inc., Madison Mines Company and King Midas Uranium Corporation, will be voted upon at a special meeting of stockholders of Kanab at the Newhouse Wednesday, Hotel, June 1, at 10 a.m.,t was announced in a letter mailed recently to Kanab stockholders. Similar meetings are planned for other constituent companies. The name of the proposed successor company into which the others are to be absorbed will be Oil Securities and Uranium Corporation. An agreement of merger was signed by a majority of the directors of each corporation on April 23. The merger provides that Kanab stockholders shall receive one share of new, $1 par value common capital stock of Oil Securities and Uranium Corporation new stock for each 35 shares of the common capital stock of Kanab. Stock of King Midas Uranium will be exchanged on a basis of 35 shares of King Midas for one share of the stock of the sucessor non-assessabl- e, company. Stockholders of Oil Securities Inc., under the proposed merger, would surrender three shares of the old stock for one share of the new Oil Securities and Uranium stock. Quintan SALT LAKE CITY Buttressed with ample resources, plus a technical skill founded on many years of successful mining experience, Standard Ore and Alloys Corporation appears destined to take .over one of the leading roles in development of the uranium industry in Utah and other Rocky Mountain states. A recent estimate by Dun and Bradstreet, financial analysists, shows that Standard has approximately, half a dozen wholly owned subsidiaries, all with a Triple A- -l rating, indicating each to be worth better than $10,000,000 and assigned the top grade rating, without taking into consideration foreign holdings.
