November 6th, Mrs. Pay Yeates and Mrs. Ann Herrington served coffee and cake to the wards and in the recreation hall at the North Bench Hospital, during "coffee The two ladies, representing the local chapter of the DAV Auxiliary, also provided the prizes for the bingo games that evening at the hospital. In observance of Veterans Day, the DAV and Auxiliary entertained members and partners at the hall of the organization. Initiation of the DAV was also conducted. Special guests were state commander Ed Shocky and wife; state adjutant Bob Dougherty and wife; Mr. and Mrs. Herb Schmidt. Mr. Schmidt is commander of Thomas Chapter in Salt Lake City.
