Building Boom Quite a building boom will prevail in this area during the ring and summer of 1954, despite the curtailed employment at the mills and refineries. With the contracts soon to be let for the Cyprus high school swimgymnasium and Magna ming pool, several private contractors announce they plan to construct more dwellings. It was particularly cheering to learn that Keith Barton will build six more homes in the Thomas Subdivision and I understand that the Alldredge Brothers will construct same more in the Pleasant Green Acres. Construction will also go forward on the beautiful new Stake-hous- e for Oquirrh Stake. Further details on all of this building will be found in another column of this Residents of Magna and vicinity will have an opportunity on April 23rd and 24th of getting rid of their spring cleanup trash, according to the Chamber of Commerce, sponsors.
