Please note the use of the word, too." The late Will Rogers succeeded not only in representing politicians in a humorous light, but in joking politicians into laughing at themselves. And yet his astuteness concerning public affairs was as sharp as his wit. One of Wills most devastating statements was the one he made on the subject of corruption back in 1928: "Corruption is awful diard to get people interested in unless they can get some of it. You take a fellow that hasn't rereived any corruption and its kinder like the fellow that has never drank any sauerkraut juice; he ain't much interested in whether it's good or bad.' It is regrettable that the gum- chewing Will is not on the scene today. isertield, Utah, Friday, May 30, 1952 Year Thirty-fift- h Fine Honor Comes To Local Group Five Stakes To Present Big Entertainment Next Tuesday Together with four other neighboring LDS stakes, Oquirrh Stake will participate in a big Festival next Tuesday night June 3rd at the Jordan high school stadium.
