PARTICIPANTS: - MR. AVERY GLENN CCAG Representatives ELKS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS December 5th at 8 PM the Ladies Elks Club will hold their Christmas Party at the Elks Club. Each lady will bring a sample of her favorite Christmas recipe along with a $2 gift. Entertainment will be provided by the high school chorus group and THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE dance dub. The Mens Elks Club and their wives and invited guests will cdebrate the Christmas season by sponsoring a Charity Ball on December 14th. The money collected is donated to a worthy cause during the year. JOIN THE PTA Over CITY MUEFBi MUSIC SPECIALIST VISITS MAIISAC Avery Glenn, State Music Specialist, visited Marsac Elementary on Friday, November 22nd. In a meeting with members of Marsacs faculty, Mr. Glenn, who visits all schools in the state, discussed other music programs and offered suggestions on how to improve and expand Marsacs present program. Displaying new materials, the state music specialist explained The Threshold Music Chart, a method of teaching music reading through hand signals, and The State Music Guide for General Music, along with other books and music series. Marsacs music program is already well on its way, and Mr. Glenn's suggestions ought to aid in its expansion. MOTHER LODE ADDITION A new combination breakfastdining room has been added to Main Streets Mother Lode restaurant. Currently, only breakfast is served in the new room, with dinners to be featured around Christmas time. Open from 7 AM to noon, the breakfast room offers a wide choice of omelettes, traditional pancakes, French toast using homemade bread, and something unique in town, Aebelskivers. Served in the place of toast, Aebelskivers (otherwise known as Danish pancakes) can be filled with any type of fruit imaginable. Presently, the Mother Lode is filling both their clientele and the Aebelskivers with blueberries. When the new room opens for dinner it will specialize in steak you can cook yourself. MINERS BOW IN CAGE DEBUT Curfews will be strictly enforced in the future due to an increase in vandalism and petty theft in the community. Curfew regulations are as follows: for fifteen year olds and under, 1 0 PM. Sixteen through eighteen, 1 2 PM. Handicapped by a lack of height and minus four of last years starters, Park PARK CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SKI PROGRAM The Park City School District with the Park City Resort Ski School will again offer a special ski lesson program this year to all students. Arrangements have been made to continue ski lessons on specific Thursdays. This year, Marsac Elementary School will dismiss school on ski days at 12:45 PM for all students, regardless of whether students participate in the ski program. The usual half-da- y elementary Friday schedule will be moved to on ski lesson days only. Thursday All lessons will begin at 1:15 PM promptly at the ski school bell.
