Show THE PARK Wednesday, August 20, 1974 CITY COALITION rage 9 CCH FROM MAYOR PRICE Themost important issue that has been brought to the attention of the City by the survey by NTDS is that people do not know where to go for help. Emergencies should be handled by the proper agency: Example - In case of serious injury, call the ambulance. In case of routine City matters, notify the City Manager or the City Recorder: Example - Garbage not being picked-up- , call the City Manager. In case of urgent City business, call City Hall (during regular hours), the Mayor, or the proper Councilman after hours: Example - No water at your home, call the City Manager. (If after hours, call Richard Martinez or John Price at home.) If you have called City Hall concerning issues of regular City business, but satisfaction has not been received, then call the Mayor or the proper Councilman : Example - You want a Building Permit but cannot get on the agenda (you feel you are being stalled), call Jan Wilking or John Price. To bring a matter of personal importance to City attention, call the City Recorder or City Manager for information. You can call the responsible Councilman or Mayor if you do not feel satisfied by answers from City Administrators: Example - You would like a street fixed, call the City Manager. (If you do not get satisfaction, then call the Mayor.) Many people feel that the City Council meetings or Planning Commission meetings are closed to them. This simply is not true. There is, however, a particular procedure to go through. You must ask to be on the agenda. Either theCity Manager or a City Official can get you on the agenda if your matter requires Council or Commission action. Many items do not require this type of action and can be handled by the previously discussed actions. The City Council will begin holding a special meeting once a month that will be completely open, and interested citizens can be heard without being on an agenda. This will give everyone a chance to question or request Council action. The first one is tentatively set for 4 PM, September 12th, 1974, at City Hall in the City Managers office. Each month the COALITION re-cyc- air les unused papgrs. COMMUNITY CHURCH The Christ Methodist Bell Ringers will play at the Park City Community Church 11 AM service on September 8th.
