Show THE MRK Wednesday, August 29, 1974 CITY AKERLOW RESIGNS Niles Andrus, President of the Park City Chamber of Commerce, regretfully announces the resignation of Chuck Akerlow as Executive Director of the Park City Chamber of Commerce. In his letter of resignation, Mr. Akerlow expressed appreciation for his association with the Chamber. He said, While I believe much is yet to be done, I think the e time has come to secure a staff person. No other changes were announced. Waterfowl Season Noon, October 5th will mark the opening of Utahs 1974 general waterfowl season, as set by the Board. The season will run for 93 days, through January 5th. The major change in this years proclamation will be a bonus of two pintails daily and four in possession in addition to the general five and ten duck limit. As last year, there is a one daily, one possession limit on canvasbacks and two daily, four possession limit on redheads. The goose hunt will begin October 12th running through December 15th. Bag limits will be six daily and six possession, with no more than two birds of the dark species allowed. Swan and Wilsons snipe hunts will run concurrently with the duck season, October 5th through January 5th. The Board allotted 2,500 special swan permits, one bird per hunter. Applications for the free permits will be accepted until 5 P.M. September 4th. Bag limits for snipe are eight daily, 16 possession. Special regulations include a November 16th through December 15th goose season in Daggett and Unitah counties with a one bird limit; November 9th through January 5th goose season in Washington county; and no goose season in Carbon county or in Emery county west and south of a line formed by Highways U.S. mm WASTE ners.
