Join the exciting sport of cycling through the Park City Recreation Program. There will be instruction in Touring and Racing techniques. To participate, you must be in reasonably good physical condition, have a bicycle, and be between the ages of 12 and 50. Bob and Nancy , who will instruct the cycling program plan to start with teaching the technique of riding efficiently, whether racing or touring. Starting with short tours, the group will work up to longer rides. For those interested in racing, they can offer special intensified training. The picnic will begin at 1:00 PM and will offer horseback riding and swimming among other activities. Those who plan to attend are to bring their own lunches and drinks. The Saint Mary of the Assumption Altar Society meets every first Monday of the month and the meetings commence with Mass at 7:00 PM. Father Farrel has changed the meeting time of the mission from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The Park City Community Church will hold a rummage sale on Friday, August 16th,and Saturday, August 17th.
