SIDE 5 PORK FAMILY-PAC- K Jic 0) poeu The U.S. Department (if Agriculture Extension Serviee from Utah State University will lie offering free extension courses at Dugway during March, according to Captain John C. Haley of Community Services. Based on 121) responses by Dugway military and civilian personnel in an extension service questionnaire, the extension service will offer the following courses. Basic Sewing Beginning on March (i, this class will run each Monday from 10:(X) to 12:(X) noon for nine consecutive weeks. Mrs. Koliius is the instructor in the course. Money Management Running in three segments on March 9. 15 and 2.1, the class will le held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The instructors for the course. Dr. Wayne Rose and Mrs. Ituth Coats, suggest that, if possible, lith husbands and wives attend. Woodfinishing The classes wocxlfinishing will ljegin March 20, running from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The class for the 21st will begin at 8 a.m. and will run till 4:30 p.iu Another class on the 27lh will begin at 9 a.m. and will last till 2:30 p.m. In addition, personnel interested in a class on upholstery should register with Mrs. Gardner on March 21 at her class. If demand is great enough for such a course, it will Ik1 conducted at a later wood-finishi- date. There is no fee for these courses except for the costs of the materials that the participants might use during the period of instruction.
