'' The Mustang JV team kept 2 pace as they beat Park City and Crantsville JVs COACH Walden Cumeys varsity had to coine from behind in the last 75 seconds to down the Park City Miners. Down 0 with two minutes left the Mustangs Gary Harris made good on a free throw to narrow the margin. Then, after Chauncey Kendalls free throw made it Randy Brown hit a jumper to give the Mustangs the lead. Kendalls two free throws closed out the scoring. The winners jumped off to an early 6--3 lead, and then after the Miners tied the score with two minutes left in the first quarter the Mustangs ralfirst quarter 0 lied for a lead. Kendall had six points in the quarter to lead the winners. Park City outscored the Mus0 in the second quartangs ter to cut the winners lead to 26-2- 2 at half time. Miner forward Bill Mawhinney collected 12 points in die half to keep them in contention. THE MINERS took the lead 33-3-2 with 2:40 left in the third quarter and then after the Mustangs tied it up, the losers rallied for a 40-3- 8 margin at the end of three quarters. After a Steve Brothers field goal tied it at 40 and a basket by Rex Palmer again tied it at 42 apiece, the Miners took a lead only to relinquish it in the closing seconds. R. Palmer with 15 and Kendall with 13 led the Mustangs scoring. Brown had nine, Harris seven.
