The display was in Montonati Gymnasium. Henderson Wins Bond Sales Contest at DPG I - BG John G. Appel, commanding general of DTC presents Otis Black and Harold Palmer, both of Civilian Personnel with Qaulily Salary Increases. QSI - SP4 Dennis McCarthy of the Met Team explains the operation of a visual tracking device to an interested youngster at Dugway Open House. Mrs. Elizalteth L. Henderson, Traffic Management Office, Dug-wa- v won the Miss Dugway Darling Contest by 13 points! Total contacts of 3tifi persons, she accomplished this and worked 8 hours per day! Mrs. Henderson received a 123.00 Savings Bond, and $00.00 in certificates from various department stores, and private stores of Salt Lake City and Tooele. Major lands T. Bowring, executive officer of Dugway, presented the bonds and certificates to the winners of the Savings Bond Contest after the band concert near the post Gym. The Second Prize Winner was Miss Kristine Cooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waller L. Cooper, of 213 East oth Street, Dugway. Miss Cooper came in second with the grand total of contacts of 353 Miss Cooper also received a S25.(X) Savings Bond and Gift Certificates. The Third Prize Winner was Miss Karen Neilson, Bldg 5330 Dugway; she works in Civilian Personnel Office. Site too, received a $25.00 Bond and Gift certifica- tes. Mn. wife of Welfare solicited SMASHING HIT - an unidentified participant in the Dugway Open House swings a sledge hummer at a car which was destroyed by enthusiastic guests. Spcca tutors at the Dugway Open House inspect a photo display board included in tlie presentation of the Dugway Girl Scouts for the event. Glenn Paramorc, CPT Parainore of the and Morale Division, all gift certificates for the girls. Mrs. Paraniore also picked up tlie gift certificates from the various stores. Mrs. Parainore has just recently arrived mi post. Mrs. O'Dell B. Avinger. director of the Sandy Acres Service Club, was chairman of the Bond Sale Drive Committee. There were many "Paw-Wowprior to the day of the ending of the contest, via phone, personal speaking with the many girls who participated in the Bond Drive Sales.
