Letter Carriers Appreciation Week will be observed with several events sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Utah Letter Carriers Association. Mrs Ruth Bailey has been ap-- 1 pointed chairman of the second annual Letter Carriers Ball which will be held Friday, Mar. 29, at the Terrace Ballroom in Sail Lake City. The funds raised through this event, according to Mrs Bailey, will be used to uniform and equip the Postal Employees Band. This band, a pervoluntary organization, forms throughout the year at civic, church and charitable functions as a public service. The need for uniforms and equipment has existed for several years.
