He was born Dee. 28. 1865, in Oskaloosa, la., to George and Josephine Broadliead Cowan. lie married Lillie Belle Ford from Cora, Kan., in 1892. A farmer by trade, he was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow, two sons, George A. and Robert O., both of Salt Lake, and a daughter, Mrs Claude (Lena)! Wilson, Portland, Ore. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 29 Funeral services were conducted Feb. 19. Trucking Cottonwood Sand and Gravel Co., and Davis and Snider Sand and Gravel Co. He had been a member of the LDS Church and the East Mill Creek Lions Club. He was born June 22, 1907, in Vernal, son of Charles D. and Orletta Hatch Davis. He married Jean Sargent Jan. 11, 1928. The marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr Davis is survived by his widow, a son, and three daughters, Robert Ray Davis, Sandy; Kirs Jerry (Jeannine) Snider, Mrs Fred (Judy) Beesley, and Mrs Delbert (Joy) Slein, Salt Lake City; and by 17 grandchildren.
