Patten Accidental carbon tetrachloride poisoning claimed the life of Leonard C. Hubbard, 60, 3538 South,) according to his attending physician. An autopay confirmed the diagnosis. Mr Hubbard became ill Nov. 7 after using the poisonous fluid for cleaning. He was hospitalized Nov. 11. His condition steadily became worse until he died Sunday, Nov. 18. Medical authorities say the cause was unusual in that victims seldom die from carbon tetrachloride poisoning. He was born Mar. 31, 1902, at Denver, Colo., to Nathan and Mary Cutshaw Hubbard. He married Dorothy Carney Richardson, in Las Vegas, Nev., in 1950. He was an assayer for Kennecott Copper Corp. Survivors include his widow and sons, Leonard M., Para-muN. J.; Robert G., Magna; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Eleanor Matson, Los Angeles. Funeral aerveies were held last Wednesday.
