Show Titan Junius Mark Sorensen Chit-Ch- at Pre-Spri- ng Dies Shrrilyn Sierakowskl Olympus High What does freedom mean to you? Have you ever really thought about it or do you just take freedom for granted? Well, Hilka Oepping, a senior at Olympus High, not only knows what freedom means to her, but she realizes its not something to ever take for granted. Hilka is the kind of girl that not only uses words like democracy, patriotism, liberty and justice in her vocabulay but she lives them as well. Her sincerity and the feeling she has for America brought her to the top; even though she competed with students from 15 I Utah high schools in the Speak For Democracy contest which is sponsoed by the Utah Veterans of Foreign Wars. February 3, will see our Titan on her way to Washington where she will compete with 50 other winners for scholarships and meet with President Kennedy at the White House.
