SOME OF THE FOUNDATIONS FOR PEACE In a fight for Peace, herd are some of the foundations that must be laid: Religion, good and inspiring as it is, must be further spiritualized and removed from the commercialism in which it is steeped. Try as it may, it can never bring world peace so long as it is mired in the profit system. A new system of economy must be set up. The causes of war are economic and these must be removed. A new class of leaders must be raised up to do this. Greed and corruption in private and public life must be rooted out. Politics must be changed from the dribble of present campaigns to something better and higher. Democracy must be perfected and made inviting and desirable In preference to dictatorships. There must be great Cooperative and Collective efforts for humanity as a whole. There must be World Courts set up in which nations must settle their differences as individuals settle theirs. People must get back to the Bible. ALL THAT THIS PAPER HAS STOOD FOR All that this paper has stood for it shall continue to stand for, because it is all contributary to the cause of Peace, Cooperation, Old Age Pensions and Assistance, Opportunity for youth, jobs for those able and willing to work, government of, by and for the people, and the practice of pure and undefiled religion. In the name of all American soldiers dead, especially the shocked and made sick in the battle of the we call citizens to Peace and ask them to invest in it and "fight frr it. Not Pece at any nrice; not spineless pacifism, but a righteous and reasonable Peace. ALL WILL BE LOST IF WE DO .NOT SECURE PEACE The time has come when the majority must be led to develop sufficient good will to stand for Peace. Every effort hitherto made by man to establish Peace has failed utterly. Every plan has been futile. Why? Because mens hearts have not been prepared for Peace. The common people have always yearned for and desired Peace but always their leaders have failed them. As a bedrock truth we say at the outset that there never has been Peace under the worlds Babylonian system of commercialism, and there never can be Peace under it, because it contains all the seeds of war. Such is the situation in the world that without Peace there can no longer be free and happy life for men and nations. There cannot be individual apd collective opportunity. There cannot be absolute security. There cannot be liberty and freedom. There cannot be law and order. The conflicts set in motion are sure to destroy the nations engaging therein unless people immediately acquire sense and wisdom sufficient to establish Peace. Whatever there is of civilization may soon be wiped out and a Dark Age ushered in which will destroy all the finer things of life. It will pay all people to invest in Peace. TO TIIE IIONEST SOU IS WIIO BELIEVE IN PEACE To those who truly believe in Peace we say: It is your duty to God and man to do whatever in your power lies to forward the cause of Peace. If you do not do this you will be untrue to yourself, untrue to the faith you profess, untrue to your children and your children's children, and unfaithful to all the purposes for which you were created.
