D Nielson and son David from Paramount Calif The Nielson are Trena's parents and Glendale Glendale Glendale Glen- Glen dale is halfway between Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim and Paramount The reason reason reason rea rea- son for this meeting was to see Trena's brother who is going overseas to Viet Nam and they wanted to visit with him before he left The group then motored around the west side of Lake Mead taking a new road that has recently been constructed to Boulder City They stayed there Saturday night and then proceeded proceeded proceeded pro pro- down to Boulder Damon Dam on Sunday Trena and her brother David went through the dam as they had never been there be be- fore The group parted company there and the Ephraim folks came back to Utah When they arrived in St. St George they took the road that goes up to Zions Zion's Canyon through Mt Carmel tunnel tunnel tunnel tun tun- nel and over to Mt Carmel junc junc- tion Vaun and Shirley Cox and small daughter Karen came from Salt Lake City Friday for fora a brief visit with their son and brother Neal a student at Snow College before he left for a trip to California with the Dr H. H R R. Christensen family and to pick up their young son Douglas Doug Doug- las Lee who had been spending a week with his grandparents Mr and Mrs Ross Cox while Vaun and Shirley were in Boise where Vaun had business matters matters matters mat mat- to take up with the Idaho State Legislature Vaun and Douglas also visited friends in Manti |
