Dewey, Herbert Hoover, Senator Taft and others. Representative Cooper says that he is primarily interested in measures which have to do with the outlying areas of the state. He is also especially interested in highways and tourist development, education, and is opposed to the Fed eral wilderness bill. In coming to the Legislature, Representative Cooper says that he was most happy to find most of the younger members of the House of Representatives on the Republican side of the aisle. This young man is our prime example of the methods which Young Republicans can use to work their way into elective positions. There is a place for us in political life and tiie accomplishments of such young persons as J. Arthur Cooper, representative from Panguitch, are our living examples. - |
