Ben- City and a major address at Brigham Young University have been announced for Vice President and Mrs. Richard M. Nixon when they visit the Beehive state Oct. 16-1Arriving at the Salt Lake Airport on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m., the vice president will be accompanied by members of his staff, and press delegation of a dozen persons. Mr. and Mrs. Nixon will give a brief greeting to officials and the public at the airport before proceeding to Hotel Utah for 6:30 p.m. press conferences. The vice president will be in the Pioneer Room, while Mrs. Pat Nixon will meet women members of the press in the Gold Room. The Salt Lake rally will be staged in the Rainbow Randevu at 8 p.m with Charles E. Peterson of Provo, as master of ceremonies. Mr. Peterson is Utah County Republican chairman, and former speaker of the Utah House of Representatives. A motorcade carrying Mr. and Mrs. Nixon leaves Hotel Utah at 8:05 p.m. proceeding down Main Street to the rally. Young Republicans will serve as drivers for the motorcade. Guests in the motorcade include Gov. and Mrs. George D. Clyde; 7. nett; Representative and Mrs. Wil- liam A. Dawson and Representative and Mrs. Henry Aldous Dixon; Salt Salt Lake Mayor and Mrs. Adiel Stewart, and Lamont Gunderson, chairman of the Salt Lake County Commission, and Mrs. Gunderson. At the rally, Governor Clyde will introduce the congressional delegation, concluding with Senator Watkins, who will introduce Mr. Nixon. The vice president will give a half-hoaddress as the rally's featured speaker. Next morning, the motorcade will leave Hotel Utah for Provo at 8 a.m., greeting schoolchildren and the public enroute at Murray, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Orem and Provo. County and local candidates will join the motorcade. A major address will be given before the students of Brigham Young University and the public in the George Albert Smith Memorial Fieldhouse, as one of a series of B.Y.U.s public forum programs, beginning at 10 ajn.
