Says Quarterly Federal payroll and Excise tax returns covering the months of April, May and June 195 are due on or before July 31, 1956, District Director of Internal Revenue, Caharles I. Fox, stated today. Also, annual applications for Special Tax Stamps covering amusement devices, bowling alleys, pool tables, and retail or wholesale dealers in liquors or malt liquors are due at the same time, he said. Taxpayers who withhold $100 or more from wages during a months must purchase a depository receipt directly from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, or through their local bank.
