ANNE ARMSTRONG Hie Salt Lake City YWCA is having a festival anil bazaar with a theme of Sidelks of the World on Wednesday Nov. 15th from 11 ajn. to 9 pjn. at 322 East 3rd South. The funds raised at thd event will be used towards the local YWCAs pledge to the World Mutual Fellowship Fund which helps finance YWCA programs in 70 countries of the world. Featured at the "Sidewalks of the World will be an international dinner made up of diverse authentic foreign foods, a lunch from 12 to 2 pjn., imported gift items, local handmade gifts, baked goods, candies and home canned foods. Of particular interest will be hand made Japanese dolls created by Mieko Megato in Taka-razukJapan and handmade from the YWCA in Taipei, gifts Taiwan. Another treat will be having Mrs. Messinger from Gov. Ramptons staff present, creat- 3 ing exquisite dried flower arrangements. Activities will be available for children, such as painting plaster molds, a fish pond and inexpensive 'little folk" items. Be sure to make a note of this fun and idea-fille- d event as a top priority for the coming holiday season.
