Show UFBF membership sets new record at 1 2, 1 32 Member families in the Utah Farm Bureau Federation have reached a new high total of 12,132, climaxing a 20 percent growth in the past two years, Elmo Hamilton, UFBF president, has announced. This number topped last years record membership of 11,023 and the 1975 American Farm Bureau Federation's goal of 11,024. The new high mark is a tribute to the hard work of county membership committees and Farm Bureau insurance agents, Hamilton said. Neil Sumsion, Field services director for UFBF, pointed out that the 1975 figure includes a membership gain in all counties but one, Piute. He said Farm Bureau leaders there are striving hard to achieve a gain also. Sumsion has coordinated the 1975 membership drive, which started after the annual Utah Farm Bureau convention last November. Sumsion pointed out that all county Farm Bureau leaders and members should continue to be alert to enroll new members, since their efforts will count toward 1975 membership totals.
