Show November Utah Farm Bureau News Rage 6 1973 Later AFBF meeting allows more participation to the voting delegates at the convention in January for consideration Plans are underway for the 55th annual meeting of the American Farm Bureau Federation January 7 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This will make the first year the convention has been held in January. The change resulted from a decision by voting delegates of member State Farm Bureaus to hold the annual sessions a month later than the customary December date. The move to a new date was made in order to permit greater member participation in county, state and AFBF meetings. Because of the change in date, no AFBF annual meeting will be held in 1973. Another change in connvention plans moves the meeting of the resolutions committee to the week of December 17. In previous years, the. resolutions committee met during the week just prior to the convention. and adoption.
