Show Dugway Proving Ground, Friday, Nov. 4, 1966 Cage Season Opens Dec. 2; Intramural Tourney Set 'mtsst Walden Gurney, head basketball coach at Dugway High ha revealed a cage schedule for the coining season for his Mustang quintet. The basketball slate includes 12 conference contests in the Jordan Division of Region Five, as well as nine affaire. chedule December 2 and 3 when Dugway Te. will travel to Panaca, Nevada for an overnight double-headand will conclude on March 3 with a game against St. Joseph's. The Mustangs open with six games in a row, before entenng Region Five play on December 30 at home against Tin-tiAlso included in the non-loo- p tilts is a December 27 battle against an alumni team from Dugway. Coach Gurney plans to start practice for his club on November 14 to prepare them for the coming season. Gurney also plans to start an intramural basketball tournament at the high school this Saturday, with the finals to be held on November 12. The teams will be divided evenly and the field will be narrowed to four teams for the final day of play. The tournament will be held in the post gymnasium and trophies will be presented to the winning team. A price of $1 will be charged for admission to the finals of the tourney.
