Pitcher, Trenton, announce the marriage of their daughter, Rae Ann, to Christopher J. Marchant, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Marchant of Cedar City. They will be married Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the St. George LDS Temple. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast will be held at the Homespun. An open house will be given in their honor that evening from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Enchanted Gardens in Cedar City, Utah. Kae Ann is a 1975 graduate of Sky View High School and four year seminary. She enjoyed participating in the music program, traveling twice with the marching band to the Calgary Stampede and touring Europe with the Logan High Orchestra. She went on to enjoy two more years of music at the Southern Utah State College. There she had the opportunity to travel with the Symphony Band to the National MENC Bicentennial Convention held in Atlantic City, N J. This summer she has performed in the Mikado held with the Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah. Chris is a 1973 graduate of Cedar City High School where he placed first in State as a Debator. He is a four year seminary graduate. He then fulfilled an LDS mission in British Columbia. He has also been attending the Southern Utah State College. A reception will be held, Friday, Sept. 23rd, in the Trenton Ward cultural hall from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. We wish to invite all friends and relatives. Following their honeymoond, the couple will reside in Cedar City, Utah. Roger Hansen claimed Valerie Blasi as his bride on Sept. 2, in marriage rites which were performed in San Francisco, Calif. Valerie is the daughter of Mrs. Rita Blasi of San Francisco. Roger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hansen of Lewiston. Roger graduated from Sky View High KRISTI CAPENER AND MIKE MONSON Kristi Capener and Mike Mon son were married Friday, Sept. 16, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kristi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Capener and Mike is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Monson. A reception was held in their honor that evening at the Jordanell Reception Center in West Jordan. Saturday the couple was honored at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Duane Barker, Smithfield. Travel to Seattle School in 1974. Valerie, a 1977 graduate of the University of Santa Clara, received a degree in sociology. The couple will make their home in Lewiston where Roger will continue farming. Valerie will continue her education. Bridal showers have been given by Annette Hansen. Marilyn Olsen and Nancy Munk. Friends and relatives attended. Kristi is a 1975 graduate of Sky View High School and attended one year at Ricks College. She is now employed in Salt Lake City. Mike is a 1973 graduate of Kearns High School. He served an LDS Mission to France. He is now attending the University of Utah, majoring in Mathematics and Physical Education. The Karrens are former residents of Lewiston. The couples toured Sebus attle on a sight-seein- g and sailed on the Princess Margeurlte to Victoria, B.C. While there they visited the Butchart Gardens and the Space Needle. On Friday Donna Dahle attended the Salt Lake LDS Temple marriage rites for her niece, Diane Dahle, and the Douglas Damerons, of Idaho Falls. They visited Mrs. Laynes son and daughter-in- Layne, and their family. The Damerons and their children attended the Saturday presentation of Holiday On Ice at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake Gty. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cole are happy that their daughter, Connie, has now moved to Salt Lake City from Areata, California. She is a medical technologist at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake Gty.
