Show intiK4Mii,.tri. i, i m Marriages Susan LaRue held a one-ma-n show" of her paintings at the Logan Library last week. She lives in Smithfield with her husband Michael and their 3 children. She has taken night school classes in art in Antioch, Calif., and Los Angles. She has won some contests. She has been invited to enter the art show to be held at the University of Utah Special Events Center Sept. Education and Secretarial Training, graduating in June of this year. She is currently employed as a secretary of the Cache Valley Dairy Association at Smith-fiel- d. Jim is a 1974 graduate of Malad High School and four year Seminary and attended USU for one year prior to serving a two year mission in the Scotland Edinburgh Glasgow mission of the LDS church. Jim and Gloria will be married Friday in the Ogden LDS Temple. A reception at the Richmond Stake Center will be given by the brides parents that evening between the hours of 7 and 10. The bridegroom's parents will hold open house at the Lion's Den in Malad Sept. 9, from 7:30 to 9:30. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Following their honeymoon, Jim and Gloria will reside in Preston and he will continue his studies in the field of pre-la- 30. Mrs. Ann Tidwell has grown a 10 foot 6 inch hollyhock stock. JANIEL CHRISTENSEN AND ROLAND BALLS Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Christensen of Fairview, Idaho, are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter Janiel to Roland Balls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Balls of Clarks ton. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 24, in the Ogden LDS Temple. Following the ceremony, the grooms parents entertained at dinner in the Clarkston Ward cultural hall for 48 relatives and friends. That evening the brides parents gave a reception in the Fairview Ward Chapel. The bride is a graduate of Preston High School and the groom graduated from Sky View High. They are both employed at Cache Valley Dairy, and are making their home, in Clarkston. A shower was given for the bride at the home of Mrs. Terilee Clark at Clarkston. were Mrs. Sheila Gark and Mrs. Louise Gark. LEZLIE QUIN HANSEN AND RAYMOND W. COOPER Mr. and Mrs. R. Clair Hansen are dents of Richmond. Lori Kay is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Doyle Lewis, Mendon and Guy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee B. Bartholomew, Mapleton, Utah. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple last Thursday, Aug. 25. Lori is a graduate of Preston High School and 4 year LDS Seminary. She attended Ricks College, a member of Lambda Delta Sigma, XI Eta Chapter and is presently employed at Moore Business Forms. Guy Lynn is a graduate of Springville High School and 4 year LDS Seminary. He is an Eagle Scout and fulfilled an LDS mission to the Mission. He is part owner and vice president of Chateau Mill and Supper in Franklin. Following their honeymoon. They are now at home in Richmond. Thelma and Judy Doone, Richmond reports winning several blue and red ribbons and one white ribbon at the Cache County Fair last week on their clothing construction and bottled fruit. Connie Smith, Hyrum, and son visited her father, Roy Kelsey, age 92 and a former resident of Smithfield at Sunshine Terrace, Saturday. The Logan Elks sponsored drove to Logan Wednesday, picked up her sister Eulalia Humphreys and drove to Hyrum to the home of May and Grover Christensen and visited the sisters nieces, Sally, Alice, and Joan of California.
