The Citizen Photo Cook Of The Week This week's cook is Helen Mitchell, one of 12 children born to Phebe and H. Glenn Bingham of Dayton, Idaho. She grew up on the family farm and at an early age learned the skills that are essential to being a homemaker. Helen, with a friendly smile for everyone, is a busy mother of four children. She served an LDS mission to Holland. A graduate of Utah State University in Library Science and Elementary Education, Helen met her husband, Larry, as she was working in the USU Library and giving him assistance in finding some reference material. After their marriage in the Logan LDS Temple on Aug. 14, 1970, the Mitchells moved to Ames, Iowa, where they lived for four years while Larry completed his studies in Veterinary Science and Helen did baby sitting to help out. Their two daughters. Melanie. 6. and Amy, 4, were born there. Cliff. 2 was born while the family lived in Payette, Idaho, Larry's home town. Dr. Mitchell then became associated with Dr. Norman T. Erekson at the North Cache Veterinary Clinic in Richmond. Since moving to Lewiston, their son, Samuel, now, 8 months old, has joined the family. Helen teaches the four year olds in Primary. She lists reading, gardening, cooking and assisting her husband as some of her special pleasures. Use your favorite bread recipe but when you shape the loaves, place them in yeast cans. The dough should come about half way up in the can. When the dough rises to 1 inch from the top, bake it for 30 35 minutes at 325 degrees. l'p to 10 loaves can be baked at one time this way. Round loaves have extra soft crust and are nice for toast, hamburgers, and sandwiches. 14 1 1 Births Denise and Melvin Huppi and Maye 2. Smithfield, wel-- . corned Michelle on June 13. The advantage is that they require only a fraction (about an eighth) of the electricity needed to air condioperate refrigeration-typ-e tioners. The disadvantage is that the moisture they produce may make the inside air too humid for comfort on muggy days. The higher the EER, the greater the energy efficiency. A unit with an EER 8, for example, uses half as much energy as one with an EER 4. if a model doesn't list an EER rating, ask the dealer to figure it for you. a KAm Park Thursday North laigan important swamp Newton 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. CB safety is QWhat 5th South and State 2nd South and 1st East Main 2nd East 1st East 1st North 3rd West 1st South 200 I'm Roddy Kilowatt, your friend at Utah Power.
